Jalapeño

Jalapeño

The jalapeño is a medium-heat chili pepper that is widely used in Mexican cuisine, as well as in other Tex-Mex and Southwestern dishes. It has a slightly bitter, slightly sweet flavor and is often used to add heat to dips, salsas, sauces, and other dishes. It is usually eaten raw or pickled, but can also be roasted or grilled.
